Several years ago (2009) we had a chance to build a Engine for our very first Factory Five Kit Car Project. The car is based in Miami Florida, and started life as a Christmas Present from a wife. Our part was to furnish a all the parts for a complete, ready to install engine. The customer had the long block, so he needed the supercharger and everything else it takes to make the Engine run. We built or mocked-up the engine here in our shop, as you can see in the pictures, using an identical long block and adding everything the customer would need. The starting point was a Ford Aluminator 4.6L DOHC long Block, Basically the 03-04 Long Block. We supplied a new Supercharger, Intake System, and all fuel related parts for a return style fuel system. We also supplied the front dress, Accessory Drive, Supercharger Drive, Wiring Harness, Special Dress up Hardware and both Inter-Cooler and Oil System. Other parts included a ProWeld Breather System, Inter-Cooler Hose System, Polished Pullies, and all engine coolant related items. While this was not a typical engine build, it was still fun and provided the customer with all the necessary parts he needed to get his project under way. We knew the system would work and fit properly, because we took the time to mock it up on a real platform that matched the engine in use. Our customer was very happy with the finished product and has since called upon us several times for both advice and additional parts for his project.
